PROFESSIONAL COACHING

Professional Coaching is an integrative coaching approach that aims to support people in their personal and professional development. It is based on the collaboration between coach and coachee, with both actively participating in the process.

Professional coaching promotes awareness, accountability and the ability to change in order to achieve individual goals.

  • Goal-orientation:
The focus is on the coachee's specific goals, be it personal development, professional change, developing leadership skills or overcoming challenges.

  • Self-efficacy:
Coaching aims to strengthen the coachee's ability to find solutions independently, make decisions and consciously utilise room for manoeuvre.

  • Variety of methods:
Coaches use questioning techniques, reflection methods, tools for clarifying goals as well as approaches from psychology, communication and systemic work to support the coachee.

  • Confidentiality:
Professional coaching takes place in a protected, trusting environment in which the coachee can talk openly about thoughts, challenges and goals.

  • Collaborative partnership:
The coach does not act as a consultant or problem solver, but accompanies the coachee in developing and implementing their own solutions.

As a Co-Active Coach, my coaching is always based on the following four cornerstones:

1. People are naturally creative, resourceful and whole

This means that they are able to find their own path, their own answers, their own choices and their own inner guidance.

2. Focus on the whole person

The attention is on all aspects of the person, such as body, heart, spirit and mind and not on the goal or problem in isolation.

3. Dance in the moment

Living in the present, appreciate what is there right now, and to listen on all levels.

4. Evoke transformation

Through powerful questions and shifts in perspective, and a visualisation of what is possible and how it comes alive.
